Dermal Fillers

Perlane and Restylane
Fillers work to naturally restore, enhance or improve the condition of your skin using hyaluronic acid. This naturally occurring sugar molecule provides hydration and structure to the skin, but is depleted as we age, which results in wrinkles caused by loss of volume and structure.

Lip Filler FAQs

1. What are lip fillers?

Lip fillers contain  a smooth, crystal-clear gel that is administered by injection to your lips. They are made from hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance in the skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume.

2. How much do lip fillers cost?

3. How long will lip fillers last?

Results may last one year to two years, with optimal correction and depending on the formula used.

4. When will I see results from lip fillers?

You will see results immediately/instantly.

5. Do lip fillers hurt?

Injectable lip fillers usually contain pain-reducing lignocaine to help manage pain or discomfort during the injection. You will also be given a topical numbing cream prior to the procedure to help further minimize discomfort.

6. What are the contraindications to lip fillers?

Do not receive lip fillers if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lignocaine or the proteins (Gram-positive bacterial proteins) used to make hyaluronic acid (HA) in  injectable gel fillers.
