About Dr. John Boyle
Dr. John Boyle has been in General Practice in Ennis for 14 years and has been in medicine for over 30 years. In January 2018, he began practicing from a Dublin clinic for a couple of days each month. He provides an extensive range of procedures including vasectomies, tongue-tie division and minor surgery as well as injections for fine lines and wrinkles.
John graduated in Manchester in 1987 before spending many years in rural Australia where he honed his skills in emergency medicine as well as obstetric and surgical procedures.
He is an adjunct senior lecturer for the Graduate Entry Medical School in Limerick and is an Intern supervisor.
John has been performing vasectomies in his practice in Ennis for more than a decade, performing both traditional and no-scalpel vasectomy techniques. He trained at the renowned Sandyford Institute in Glasgow - and was instrumental in setting up a vasectomy service at the Cairns family planning centre in Queensland. His article on vasectomies was published in the UK family planning journal and he is an advisor for Contraception: An Australian Clinical Practice Handbook – 4th Edition.
John gained an interest in division of tongue ties about 5 years ago, and has since performed hundreds of successful procedures. He is a member of the Association of Tongue-tie Practitioners and recently presented a talk at their annual conference in the UK. He liaises closely with local and regional lactation consultants.
He has trained in aesthetic medicine under Mr. Adrian Richards, a renowned plastic surgeon. He is experienced in both anti-wrinkle injections and fillers.
